Dear PASO Member,
The time has come to renew your membership for 2011–2012. We ended last year with 233 members representing 51 companies. By renewing your membership, we can continue to increase, not only the size, but more significantly the knowledge within our organization. If you know of other colleagues that could benefit from involvement with PASO and COPAS, please let a board member know so we can send them an introduction packet.
PASO takes great pride in the contributions we have made and continue to the make to the National COPAS Organization. Our members are critical to the success of COPAS. PASO members currently hold positions on the National Standing Committees, the National Subcommittees, the National Special Committees, and even the COPAS National Board of Directors. PASO has been and will continue to be a vital member of COPAS. Your involvement is your company’s best resource for staying abreast of industry issues and changes to current practices.
We are excited to announce the monthly luncheons will be located at the Hyatt Regency beginning with our September meeting. The recently renovated space at the Hyatt Regency will allow all our committee meetings to be held in close proximity to the luncheon. As in the past, the majority of the meetings will be during lunch with an 11:30 am social period followed by lunch and a guest speaker. We are also planning one evening dinner meeting in April, 2012 to honor the past PASO Presidents. We will again provide speakers this year and on several occasions will be offering CPE credits. This is an amazing opportunity to learn more about our industry, receive CPE credits, and meet with colleagues.
Attached you will find an application for membership renewal. Please complete the application, including your committee preferences. Please return your application by Friday, August 26, 2011. Your timely response is appreciated as it will give us adequate time to prepare for the first meeting on September 21, 2011.
