Biographies

Kevin Launchbaugh
Kevin Launchbaugh graduated from Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting in 2001 and a Masters of Accounting Information Systems in 2003.  Kevin began his professional career as a financial statement auditor for a public accounting firm in 2003.  Kevin joined Gas Equities, Inc. in 2009 and currently functions as Managing Partner serving as the lead auditor on expenditure audits, revenue audits, gas plant audits, contract/vendor audits and international audits.  Kevin has been an active member of the PASO-Tulsa chapter of the Council of Petroleum Accountants Societies, Inc. (COPAS) since 2009 serving on the PASO-Tulsa board of directors since 2015 and President of PASO-Tulsa in 2017.  Kevin also served as the Vice-Chair of the COPAS Emerging Issues Subcommittee from 2012 to 2014 and Chair of the COPAS Emerging Issues Subcommittee from 2015 to current.

Patricia Ellington
Patricia is the principal owner of Integrated Back Office Enterprise LLC (I-BOE).  This company provides outsourcing in the areas of operational accounting, contract compliance and litigation, land/lease matters, training, and special projects for Oil and Gas Upstream companies. I-BOE helps small to medium-sized Upstream Oil and Gas companies alleviate their difficulties, so they can achieve obligations and accomplish goals.
Before starting a consulting business, Patricia spent seventeen years in the corporate world of oil and gas generating new functions and roles.  These included a contract compliance department that paid for itself within three years and Regional Financial Analysts to help connect accounting and operations.  Projects managed by Patricia include restructuring a land department, transitioning process systems, bankruptcy reorganization, and training accountants in operations. After a successful career helping specific companies, Patricia now helps any company complete assignments and generate results.
Patricia has a BS in Accounting and has a published teaching module “Understanding the Landman”.  Patricia is a board member of the Petroleum Accountants Society of Oklahoma (PASO – Tulsa) and is the COPAS National Joint Interest Standing Committee Secretary.
Patricia enjoys spending time with family, friends, and her German Shepard Dogs and managing a family atmosphere small business.

Nate Wolf
Nate Wolf is a Senior Severance Tax Advisor for ConocoPhillips in Bartlesville, Oklahoma.  He specializes in marketing cost deductions and State severance tax legislation.  Over his nearly 30-year career he has worked for Amoco Corporation, The Williams Companies, Magellan Midstream Partners, and the last 6 years with ConocoPhillips.  
Nate has held Supervisory positions in Revenue, Joint Interest Billing, and Drilling Accounting. He is currently a Director in PASO-Tulsa, Revenue sub-committee chair for Regulatory and Royalty Compliance in COPAS, and co-chair for the Severance Tax Committee in API.   All of which he is a regular contributor on State Legislation.  
Nate has a BS degree in Accounting from John Brown University and is an Oklahoma CPA.

Jennifer Gibson
Jennifer Gibson is currently the Joint Interest Accounting Manager at Unit Petroleum (“Unit”) in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  Before joining Unit in March of 2016, she spent the previous 25 years in various accounting roles at Samson Resources in Tulsa.  Jennifer served as Co-Chairperson for the Joint Interest Committee at PASO from 2008-2011.  She has been on the PASO board since 2015 and is serving as President for 2018-2019.  Jennifer holds a degree in Accounting from Oklahoma State University, and is a CPA.   She serves as Treasurer for Redeemer Lutheran Church in Claremore, Oklahoma.  Jennifer lives in Claremore with her husband Chris.  She enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends, taking care of their dogs and cats and interacting with the wildlife in their backyard.  The Gibsons are avid OSU Cowboy fans.

Vanessa Green
2018-2019 PASO 1st Vice-President
Vanessa Green is currently a Joint Audit Senior Advisor at ConocoPhillips “COP” in Bartlesville, Oklahoma.  Vanessa has worked for ConocoPhillips for 14 years in various roles including Commercial Crude Oil Supply and Trading, JV Audit, Revenue Accounting, Recruiting, and JV Accounting.  Vanessa served as Chairperson for the Audit Committee at PASO from 2015-2017.  She has been on the PASO board since 2017.  Vanessa served on the nomination committee for the COPAS National Board in 2018.  Vanessa holds degrees in International Business and Finance from Oklahoma State University.  Vanessa lives in Owasso with her husband, Jared and three boys Colton, Aiden and Mason.  She enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends.  Vanessa is a 3rd generation OSU Cowboy and her family all bleeds orange.

Cynthia Rodman
Cynthia Rodman graduated from DeVry University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Business Management. She started with Williams in 2000 and moved to WPX Energy at its inception in 2012.  Cynthia is the Joint Interest and Revenue Audit Coordinator for WPX and has over 15 years of Oil and Gas experience. The various positions she held were as a Gas Balancing Specialist, Revenue Accountant, Joint Interest Analyst and currently the Audit Coordinator. She has also worked on both a client and consultant side during software implementations of Oracle.
Cynthia has been an active member of PASO since 2010 and has been attending the COPAS conferences since 2015.  She has also served on the PASO-Tulsa chapter Board of Directors since 2017.
