We are currently seeking experienced Vendor / Supplier lead auditors to join our contract compliance audit team.

Responsibilities

  • Review contracts and identify risks, and opportunities to improve business relationships.
  • Evaluate data sets and develop test plans to achieve project objectives.
  • Coordinate with vendors / suppliers to execute audit test plan.
  • Effectively negotiating settlements.
  • Manage project budgets.
  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to address results and necessary corrective actions throughout each engagement.

Qualification

  • Experience as a Vendor / Supplier Lead Auditor, including muti-person teams.
  • Proven expertise in contract compliance auditing, preferably in the Energy and Utility business sectors.
  • Critical and strategic thinker with strong analytical skills
  • Highly organized with the ability to maintain well-documented workpapers Organized and able to maintain well documented workpapers.
  • Demonstrated ability to simultaneously manage multiple engagements effectively.
  • Self-directed and able to work independently in a virtual environment.
  • Thrives in fast-paced, deadline-driven settings.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Ability to mentor staff.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, mathematics, or supply chain management
  • Minimum of 5 years of direct subject matter experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft applications, both large and smaller companies accounting systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Quick Books).
  • Multi-lingual a plus.

Location and Travel:

  • Houston-based preferred, but office virtually.
  • Less than 10%.

We are currently seeking an experienced Joint Venture Lead Auditor to join our contract compliance audit team.

Responsibilities

  • Interpret complex Joint Operating Agreements, Production Handling Agreements, and other operational agreements.
  • Plan and execute onshore and offshore joint venture audits.
  • Develop audit approach and testing plan to assess compliance with agreed terms.
  • Assign and review the work of team members.
  • Participating as an individual contributor.
  • Manage project budgets.
  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to address results and necessary corrective actions throughout each engagement.

Qualifications:

  • Experience as a Joint Venture Lead Auditor, including muti-person teams.
  • Proven expertise in oil and gas accounting and joint venture auditing (e.g., overhead reconciliations, drilling operations, payroll, complex boat, helicopter, and other cost allocations).
  • Onshore and Offshore experience required, including exposure to production handling agreements.
  • International experience a plus.
  • Critical and strategic thinker with strong analytical skills
  • Highly organized with the ability to maintain well-documented workpapers.
  • Self-directed and able to work independently in a virtual environment.
  • Thrives in fast-paced, deadline-driven settings.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Conversant with COPAS documents.
  • Ability to mentor staff.

We are currently seeking an experienced Revenue / Gas Plant Auditor to join the AMS-PAR team.

Responsibilities:

  • Interpret complex gathering, treating, processing, production handling, purchasing, and lease agreements.
  • Develop audit approach and testing plan to assess compliance with agreed terms.
  • Assign and review the work of team members.
  • Manage project budgets.
  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to address results and necessary corrective actions throughout each engagement.

Qualifications:

  • Experience as a Revenue / Gas Plant Lead Auditor, including muti-person teams.
  • Proven expertise in auditing large-scale processing plants, production allocations, and substantial royalty interests.
  • Knowledge of state and federal reporting requirements.
  • Critical and strategic thinker with strong analytical skills.
  • Highly organized with the ability to maintain well-documented workpapers.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage large engagements effectively.
  • Self-directed and able to work independently in a virtual environment.
  • Thrives in fast-paced, deadline-driven settings.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Well-versed in current legal interpretations of common lease provisions.
  • Willingness to mentor staff.


Additional Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, mathematics, or process engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years of direct subject matter expertise.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft applications, gas plant settlement software, and larger ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Quick Books).
  • Prior revenue and plant accounting experience a plus.
  • Measurement experience a plus.
  • Multi-lingual a plus.
